Havalah has been looking for a vehicle that is fairly cheap,reliable,and roomy. So far we have been having some fairly good leads hopefully we will find something soon.She has also been looking for a place off post that her and her kids can call home we believe that part may be solved as a mutual friend who was already in the process of trying to sell her house.Well as it turns out the house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which is exactly what Havalah was hoping to find,it is the perfect size for her and her kids.
We also attended the homecoming for Brandon's platoon.It was a very beautiful ceremony.The announcer for the event asked havalah if she found her soldier yet and she said "No mine wont be coming home but at least all the rest of his unit made it back and thats what matters today."She told me she needed to be there to welcome them home because they deserve a good ceremony and they were the last people to see Brandon.I think it was good for her and allowed her some closure.The kids did not attend as she felt it would be to hard on them.She is such a strong person,It was an honor to stand next to her as she tried to Welcome them home.I know if I was in her position I don't think I could have been there for that.She still tries to be a good Army wife inspite of everything that has happened.
